I need to supply a shed 30m from the house at the bottom of garden that will then supply 2 x caravan hook ups and potentially other sheds in the future. Do you think a 6mm swa would be appropriate ? Dint want to over do it but I want it to be adequate for future loads.

before we can even guess, you need to come up with an estimated load. you should be able to do your own calculations from that.

You would have 32A capacity with 6mm. After the caravans it does not leave much at all left over.

Your having a giraffe aint you mate?

bang in some 6mm MICC and have 70A available.

Maybe I should of just asked about caravans as I don't have a scooby about them. The vans will be used for camping out so I guess they will be charging a mobile phone with the light on ? Not really pulling massive loads hey ?

haha, joking aside they do, basically when you plug your caravan into a socket it charges the leisure battery mate which powers the 12 volt sockets.

Of course I know that Mike, I am ashamed to admit I once owned a shhh,a caravan (he said in a whisper)
