Discuss What resistance should a Solar iboost Clamp have? in the Solar PV Forum | Solar Panels Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Can someone tell me what the resistance should be for a Solar iboost Clamp? My clamp is regestering zero ohms and I want to confirm this is the problem. The main unit is working fine and pairs with the sender. The sender flashes and the main unit will show error if I remove the batteries from the sender. The unit is not registering power and the kettle test is not working. The clamp is connected to the correct mains wire. I disconnected the wire from the sender and measured the connector with an ohm meter and as noted earlier, it read zero ohms. I am pretty sure this should have a resistance as I measured the clamp used for my energy monitor (Energenie) and that clamp shows around 35 ohms.
