Want to add a switch to the inside of a warehouse to control shutters from inside aswell as outside.

at the min the keyswitch is located outside to lift the shutter but want to be able to close when I’m inside.

don’t do much shutters so looking for a little advice here, isit effectively the same as 2 way switching on lights or am I off base here.
TIA

I'd normally do this with a two button push switch station. These key switches normally have a cam/lever arrangement inside, which pushes one of two miniature microswitches, depending on which way it's turned.
If the door control is one that keeps going once it's been triggered, until it's fully up or down, then you should use three button station, with a mushroom stop buttton.

You'll have alter the control system for the motor. It depends on the motor and method used... is it 3 phase or single? Get the manufactures' information for correct materials and instructions. Think about correct control, safety wise......are you correctly insured and experienced enough to do the work?
