Happy New Year!

Thinking of adding a shaver socket in the bathroom, Am I okay just to add this from the last downlight ?

And if I also add a vanity light can I also just take this feed from the shaver socket also...

So from downlights to shaver socket to vanity light fitting or the other way round....YES?

I understand about notifiable work but have a friend of a friend who can hopefully do me a good deal on the testing and paperwork.

It's easier and often neater to find a vanity light with a built-in shaver socket.

Not quite how compliance with Document P is achieved....

Cheers Jason.S, Ya know I was thinking about that switched feed .....so basically that means that the shaver and vanity unit will only work if i actually have the bathroom lights on, correct?
And to avoid that then i need to take the feed from the COM port(feed in) and Neutral rather than L1(switch line) & Neutral point at switch.
