I just went all Knipex years back after C.K. Redline etc.. , still use the thinly insulated c.k. cable shears type cutters and for stripping they are immense due to the cut outs in the blades but the knipex gear although expensive is absolutely awesome and last and last...

Get most of my tools from RS.

Yes they are a bit more expensive, but bloody good stuff.

Years ago there was some french stuff around called Safico which was also pretty good, but have not seen it for about 15 years

Anyone else heard of it ?

hey spudmiester, does the brand RS have a websiteyou know of, or a wholesaler which sells RS, theres some cutters made by them which i've been after for a long time :)
