I am 46 with 15 years + white goods experience and a few other bits and have only ever done internal courses for electrical meter training, I also have an expired gas safe for cookers that ran 9 months ago and is my only real qualification. I am looking for different job types but with 0 electrical qualifications, I would like to get one to help me find a different role.
I do not think I want to go down the full-blown electrician route but want something in the middle that shows I have some knowledge. but more than the very basic.
real small courses from a few hundred to 1 to 3k 1 day 2 days or more
OR a 4k training course 20 days half of which are virtual part p plus other bits with 18th edition
OR a more intense CG 2 to 3 around 16 weeks around 8k I believe.
Money is not really a problem in paying but on the other hand, I do not want to be thinking I am wasting it for the longer-term returns that I will never see
feel free to suggest a different option

if you can do the c&G2365 levels 2 and 3, at least that's a core qualification if you do decide to progress to a gold card.
