Went to my nans today to sort out a curtain pole "that had fallen down for no reason" only to find that she had fitted the pole with No More Nails adhesive to a wallpapered wall and the weight of the curtains had ripped the paper from the wall. Bless her i just burst out laughing.

Mate of mine used that stuff to glue a picture to a wall, it was a big picture in a heavy frame. The plaster gave way after a couple of days!!! At least the magnolia had bonded well... :lol:

When me and the wife first got together there was a guy living next door to her mother who used to help anyone out by doing odd jobs for them not for any massive cost, just a half ounce of golden virginia. A curtain track fell off the wall when I was there and obviously I went to find the problem, there was no plug in the huge hole he had drilled just a screw into some mush. When I asked him how he expected anything to stay up he asked me "What's wrong with using toilet paper"?
