Electrical buzz type noise?

A month or so ago I started to get a strange buzz type noise when I pressed the fob to lock the car. The noise not coming from the fob, but seemed to be from the locking system on rear door. Recently I have the same short sharp "
bzzzz" or "Bburrr" type noise when I switch off the ignition. Any ideas what could be possible causes? It's a 2006 Range Rover Sport.

solenoid buzzing? could be sticking. a squirt of WD40 might cure.

Range Rovers/electrics, cats/dogs, chalk/cheese they don't go together. Go with Tels advice. From experience, try and sort it out before you get a chain reaction and it needs to go to a dealer to read the fault codes (£95) and they still can't tell you whats wrong.

agreed. a range rover is a glorified skip on wheels with the electrics done by a plumber.

If nothing else you will be able to find out where the best Independant specialists are in your area.
