JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Electrical qualifications - JIB status with qualifications / experience

Hi,

Hope I'm posting this query in the correct forum.

I'm looking to return to the Electrical industry after few years break and look like I need to join the JIB, however I'm a little confused with what grade I will achieve as didn't really get any real guidance when i phoned them

In short my qualifications are

2360 part 1 & 2
2360 C Course
2391 Inspection and testing
2381 17th edition
Achivement Measurement 1
These were gaind between 1998 and 2001

Experience (most recent first)

Project officer (not electrical but supervision of site employees and safety) 1.5yrs
Mechanical & Electrical officer for 5 yrs
Electrician 20 yrs

What card could I expect to achieve ?

they wont tell you bugger all on the phone but you should be graded as standard electrician initially , with an upgrade to approved after 2 years.

biff55 - thanks for the reply, a little gutted thinking with all my qualifications and experience that I'd have to wait 2 years for approved
