hello there first time poster here so go easy on me :)

Got a job to look at and was wondering if you guys could help got a hot tub supply to run in, I was thinking of coming out of existing fuseboard and running a 4mm cable to the shed with rcd consumer unit with earth stake. the thing I need abit of advice on is the hot tub would need some sort of isolation the guy said its needs to be 25amps supply so odviously a normal switch fuse would not be up to the job and was thinking of fitting a rotary isolator? would this be ok and where abouts would it be ok to fit the isolator? due to zones. Sorry I have not done a supply for a hot tub before so just looking for advice. The job will also be signed off.

any help appreciated

A rotary isolator's perfect, out of reach from the hot tub.

The rest of your proposal sounds fine, electrode at load end, 30mA RCD protection.

Rotary isolator will be fine (IP44). There is normally a control panel built on the side of the tubs housing electrionics, pumps etc. I've place one in here before.
