Emergency lighting rules

Does the rules require you to have maintained em lights over the final exit doors, change of direction in passageways and difference in floor levels? Non maintained over other exits leading to main fire exits doors. Plus are all exit lights allowed to be switched ?

BS5266 will help.....rule of thumb, exit doors maintained constant lit fittings. Non maintained at change of direction, level, fire extinguishers/call points and controls such as db units, fire alarm panels. EM fittings can be switched, by using maintained fittings.
