Hi all,

Is it permited to add a fused spur feeding an outside light from an unfused spur from a ring.

I know its ok to have one unfused spur from a ring.

The setup is as follows:

RING ----- Unfused spur --------- FCU -------- Outside light.

Regards

Simon.

No sorry mate but change the unfused to a fused and then to the outide light and it will be fine . Sour of a spur means your cable is to small

Ring -- 2.5mm to unswitched fused spur (13A) -- 2.5mm to switched fused spur (5A) -- 1.5mm to outside lights.

depends on cable sizes and circuit protection
look in the appendix of the regs, figs 15A & 15B
If you have one of the first copies of the 17th it contains errors, but you can get the corrigendum(big word) with the altered pages from....free download
