Hey all, I bought a big garage that I’m going to subdivide and rent out. I am going to hire an electrician to do all work. This is not a DIY question. I just wanted to ask for advice here before hiring an electrician, so I know what I’m getting into. Thanks in advance.

The space is 2500 sqft, and has a 3 phase 250 amp panel smack in the middle at the back wall. I'm building a hallway for access to it and the other utilities on this wall and then dividing the main space in half. I want each subdivision to have a 100 amp subpanel. Is this doable?
Thanks again.

In theory yes! if it is a incomer rated at 250A too. The local DNO would be best to advise though if it is that straightforward to split into 2(3 if incl landlords) metered supplies.

How many panels are you wanting to add. It’s doable depending on the number of panels that you want to add.
