Hi, everyone, just a diy'er joining to see if I can tackle wiring in a cooktop. I've done ceiling fans, receptacles, and switches. Figured doing the cooktop, would be easy. Just follow the color of wires. Problem is, all wires are black. 4 Aluminum in box are all black. and the 4 wires from GE cooktop are all black. So, not sure what I can do once the new cooktop shows up tomorrow. Anyway, I posted in the DIY section. Thanks!

@azcanuck1971 I can help you if you can send me pictures of the sticker in the back of the cooktop with the wiring and voltage requirements. Where does the AL come from the house or cooktop ?
