Evening all...

Havent really brought much LED stuff before. So after bit of advice please.

Primarily want to use it for under cabinet lighting and kick board lighting on kitchen jobs....

So wondering what is the most effcient way to buy it? On a roll maybe and then cut to required length ?

And where is best place to buy this from, LED stuff in wholesalers seems to be pretty pricey ?

And just another thing how does it run, do you need a driver / transformer or both ?

Many thanks,

Sy:)

You will either constant voltage or constant current driver, I don't use the one's on roll's - too pricey at the moment and there a b******* to terminate 300mm strips red, blue green @ £12.00 termination fly leads £1.70

In my experience it has always came as a kit, and doesn't need any alterations, they just clip together. The kickboard lights generally work off a plugtop, so I generally put a socket in a unit via the light switch (and label PLINTH LIGHTS ONLY). I would expect to pay about £40 for a pack of 10, and if you use less then give the customer for spare. I have came across ones that cost £30+ each but not many customers want them ones.
