as above looking new pat tester, any new models out there that your impressed with and obv good price??? i had the the kt71 before which was adequate but i would actually like a battery and mains version

seaward prime test 250

if you want to compete in the pat world, you don't want to be spending oodles on a tester. just a roll of pass stickers.

What functions do you need ... do you need flash testing (unlikely), auto upload (useful if you do loads of items at each location).

i remember test meter did a comparison, and it worked out the primetest 250 was what i was after... i like the thought of battery version when doin lot of it equipment and class 11

but the run test for leakage and you can test rcds as well on the seaward 250..

seems best all round tester....

or the mardindale handy pat which is minimum required but is battery operated just

probably around £300 mark

When I was looking a few months back, test-meter had a handy selection filter on the PAT tester section.

Know nothing about Pat testing.but if you already have a MFT can you not just purchase something like a Kewtech Pat adapter. Then you got best of both worlds.
