I'm installing some patio lights which the builder has supplied. It is a IP67 light and has a fixed flex(not a light that I suggested). I'm trying to do the connections which I have heat shrinked and taped but I'm really not happy about this and think it will cause problems later on. I only have a small space for the connections which is a bit of 100mm pipe under the light.

has anyone got any suggestions regarding a better way of termination!

Are the terminations located where they're going to get wet or are they under the patio roof?

Is it just my rubbish work computer, but when I click on the "click here for more details" on the link I get a message saying that the page cant be found. Was going to look at the size if this. The OP sounds like he doesn't have lots of room for connections. It would be good if he could post some pics.
Is there anything wrong with soldering the cables together and using adhesive heat shrink, depending on where the connection is going to be.

Greenbrook (Kingshield) H65Z-C IP67 or H85Z-C IP68

Your local wholesaler should kepp them in stock

Wago light box?

And next time make sure you select the lights you want to connect. Numpty builders don't care about the problems buying cheap stuff causes

Same on mine. I've always found the Line website to be a bit shambolic.

If you're really tight for space I think this method is the best. Disadvantage is that it's difficult to do if wet and windy, and the conductors aren't accessible for testing or repair.
