I am actually in the garden in the October sun, glass of wine with roast lamb on the go.For those interested in my culinary adventure, cauliflower cheese in, braised cabbage in, blackberry up side down cake (her in-doors is doing that), arrrgggh hate Sundays. Wot was the question again?
I do have all the rings and the oven on though. Hey it doesn't matter my cables are in conduit, was a bit worried then.I went to the local carvery

Are they in insulation as well Westy?I do have all the rings and the oven on though. Hey it doesn't matter my cables are in conduit, was a bit worried then.
cable in a stud wall in front of insulation.Could someone give me an example of 102 touching inner surface and how they achived this then?!
How would you ensure this remains touching inner surface? Are you notching all your studwork out??
I am not sure but the conduit will save them, roast lamb eaten whilst this thread goes on and on and on.Are they in insulation as well Westy?
I would love a time machine to see how installations have changed. Will we be laughing about rcd use like the way we used to earth any bit of metalwork in the eighties. The only benefit I can see of using conduit in a stud wall is to save the guy doing the next rewire in 50 years or whatever having to destroy the wall to get new cables in. But by then all the sockets and switches will be wireless so it won't matter.
You ad words with the chef.Pud was carp
