Remote wireless cameras

Looking for some advice,
I live in a smallholding situated on a bend in the road, so driving out is a bit fraught. I would like to fit a camera on the other side of the road where it can see round the bend. Ideally I would like to phone it up to wake it up, it would then transmit a picture to my iphone, then when I close the app it goes back to sleep.
Any ideas?

Operating a phone while driving is not so good surely, especially in a hazardous zone. How will you see both ways?

Tried mirrors dident work. Cant see either way so at the moment its radio off windows open and listen. All I want is a quick glance at the phone to make sure it is clear.

do you have motor drawn carriages in Ayeshire yet? can't you open the windows and listen for the clip-clop of approaching horses?

Yes except when the scousers come and nick the wheels off them.

we're selective these days. only go for the high end alloys.
