I still recommend customers have them for their AV & PC kit, but generally suggest Belkin or Masterplug as they offer connected equipment warranty.
What make are you using ?Mine cost me £20 +VAT, I recommend and fit them now unless someone wants to save £24 and if so I get them to e mail stating that they do not wish to fit a surge protection device. No one has yet.
I use SBS boards which are based on LiVE components, adding an SPD is £20+VAT, would cost the customer more for me to do the calculation, a bit of a no brainer really.What make are you using ?
