I notice that Screwfix deals and reductions are sometimes for only a day or two and then the price goes up again.I got a Bosch 18V combi drill for £129 and its now up to £149 again. Its the Bosch GSB 18 2 Li which has bad reviews on Screwfix but I'm very pleased with it so far.

Sorry, got that wrong, its RRRrrrrrubish and all the duff reviews were right. It was fine for just over a month, then the reverse went intermittent and finally smoke from the motor. The nice people at Screwfix let me upgrade to a Dewalt for a little more money. So that was alright and its a much better drill with 3 years guarantee.

Watch out as they sent me a mail saying 10% off so when I phoned I was told I would not get it as I am down as an Electrofix member not a Screwfix

I had a 10% email voucher code for this weekend only, I was sceptical but tried entering it, and it showed 10% off the Electrofix prices, so I was about to stock up with a few items. But before I could check out, the prices all seemed to increase (between last night and this evening), which is pretty annoying - I think a new catalog comes into force tomorrow, but the prices are already increased tonight!
