Previously had a pair of canvas+ then tried helly hanson chelsea trousers but I've decided I prefered snickers. Can anybody recommend the best 1s as I'm torn between different designs duratwill, canvas+, comfort cotton etc. Or which 1s people find best?

i have 3212 duratwill, perfect for me as snickers is the only manufacturer the does odd waist sizes, 32 too snall, 34 too big. only issue i have is my razor sharp crotch seems to rub through and requires reinforcement.

Biggest problem I had with canvas + was the crotch ripped. It looked as though it was caused by the friction inbetween legs but they lasted a year or so, worn 6 days a week 10 hour a day soo... Can't grumble

Gave up on snickers a while ago, quality not what it was.
I wear dickies eisenhowers now,far better and cheaper.

I'm currently rocking a couple of pairs of blakladers that I have had for about 5 years now. Lost a couple of stitches in the crotch in one pair, but otherwise solid as owt.
I'll definately buy them again if I can afford em.

Scruffs worker pro for me now, just under £30 on ebay and haven't suddenly fallen apart like my old dickies ones did

I have been looking at scruffs but they don't do short leg so at the moment stuck with snickers, one of my mates wears dewalt but heard mixed reviews. As for blaklader I've had them but find them tight on the crotch area

I have had every make and am now back with Snickers. They are well cut and knee pads are in the right places. I tried some redback knee pads before going back to Snickers. They were horrendous, they weighed a ton per knee pad.

wouldnt be without my floorlayers, cost more than most but best money you can spend
Good to know, I was thinking about a pair of the floor layers :)

Snickers quality went down hill a good few years ago, when they first came to market it was nearly impossible to destroy them the quality took a fall in the 90's IMO and i don't think it recovered the cost also rocketed when they became popular for no visible improvements

Canvas+ xtr. The best trousers I've ever owned. I've had then about 18 months now and not 1 rip. no marks on the knees. They have taken a hammering a stood the test of time. B and q durakit last less than a month with the same kind of use.

Only down fall is they are expensive.

yuk. be OK without the peanuts. they're for parrots and the like.

Totally agree I have some XTR+ they are amazing. Be prepaired to part with 100 quid tho

The boys in work think I'm stupid spending that much on work trousers, but I can either spend £25 for a new pair of dura kit every month or £100 for xtr and after 18 months look like new apart them fading abit. Pretty obvious which is more cost effective
