How does one determine the optimum start up voltage? I have a 3.6 kwp system in two equal strings into an Aurora 3.6 OUT inverter. Facing SSE with a little shading. The inverter comes with a default start up voltage of 200v. I think each string can be adjusted independantly down to 110v.Sensible advice welcomed.thanksloskie

i cant see why you wouldnt opt for the lower as youlll start generating earlier the danfoss ones we use and sell have an automatic low start up then switch as more sun available

thanks I have worked that bit out. i think I have been misunderstood. The power one string tool on their website allows you to configure panels plus inverter BUT the start up voltage for the inverter is fixed in the "tool" at 200v which is as it arrives on site. What I wanted to know was what the optimum start up voltage would be for 18 panels in two strings on the same roof facing SSE. Total potential output 3.6 kwp.what are the benefits/drawbacks of lowering the voltage? Many thanksLoskie
