Hi all,
Thanks in advance for your help with this issue.
I am having a bit of trouble finding a type D wylex MCB to fit in a screw fixed board.
As far as I can make out wylex only make a type D breaker to fit din rail boards but was this always the case? Does such an item exist? I note that the latest wylex PS range of type D breakers will not entertain the screw fix bus bar but are the type D NS or NH breakers out there hiding from me??
If so I need 2 x 32 amp!!
Cheers again for any help!

Just an idea...failing that could I rip out the screw fixed bus bar and replace with din rails?? Just a thought. Let me know what you reckon???

Matt

Not much help but I don't think I've ever seen a Wylex type D other than din mounted.

The Wylex technical number is here, maybe they will shed some light?:

Telephone: 01543 438320

hmmm, why does that need a high start up current I wonder? time for IQ

There are very high inrush currents with this type of charger, so you end up with a D type device and often an oversized supply cable CSA to meet max Zs.

I'll go an raid our redundant mcb box, I know we have D20 Hagers but you never know

I have and we have'nt
