Yippppeeeeeeeeee got my 3rd year NIC assessment at 1pm today with Eddie Bassett ! never had him before but all seem friendly enough ! oh crap i've run out of hobnobs ! let you all know how it goes !

Much the same as the others really, friendly guy, done Ze, cont on cooker circuit and ir test, rcd tests, pfc etc questions such as what trip times for rcds, zones, what my interpretation of electrical separation on provided for one item of current using equipment & provided for more than one item of current using equipment ! so thats as such as a shaver socket then ! and you shouldnt have more than one item of current using equipment thats electrically separated from the main supply in a domestic etc couple of questions on regs and testing that was all done in the office audit and looked at the 2 jobs that was it really ! nothing worth worrying about and as said how many actually do fail ? at least thats it for another year ! last one was in December 2010 so only 8mths due to my fault was unable to make the one booked so delayed it ! only trouble with that is the next assessment comes around quicker ! Dammmmmmmmmmm
domestic installer but will upgrade to approved contractor when next assessment is due, didnt think id want to return to ind/com but needs must ! for last 3 yrs been di self emp part time and temping ind/com but as most customers i do work for want NIC AC for insurance purposes if i upgrade to AC with NIC a cpl will give me a contract so makes sence i guess.
