There will be various sites (such as this forum) where you can be advised of changes due.
but you can also keep an eye in the IET website which should be the authoritative source.

I've never heard of that one, where did you hear about that?

It was an old Electrical company I used to work for, and im pretty sure I saw a thread on here referring to it also, I could be mistaken.

Best off having an up to date copy of BS7671 to hand as well as an in depth knowledge of the book. can't go wrong then.

One thing i have noticed since i started out is that people often interpret things differently, this can lead to being told untrue or misleading information.

The amount of rubbish i have been told by so called electricians in the few years i have been training and working beggars belief sometimes.
