Hi,

A mate of mine has got a screwdriver that has a cross head and a flat combined and it fits perfectly in the earth and neutral terminals in consumer units.

Does anyone know what these are called and who makes/sells them? He was given his so he doesn't know.

Thanks

There is no single universal name for this type of screwdriver. For example, CK ... Modulo. Wera and Klauke ...Plus/Minus. Wiha ... electric Xeno.

Hi, new guy here. I was doing some searches and found this thread, and thought you might want to read this article:

Screwdrivers for switchgear « Precisiontools's Blog

I work in a shop in the US building motor control centers, and after five years there I read this article, and now I have a set of Wera PZ/S, and the shop has four sets of Wiha Xeno. Probably 60% of the screws we turn use these fasteners.

Cheers,
Davo3
