I'm not at all interested in ever joining one of these daft schemes as it isn't the type of work I do. A JIB graded Electrician without any Part P rubbish cannot do works in someones house! Its a joke! I'd trust one of them over a DI!
But you can. Anyone can do non-notifiable work (more after April) if 'competent'.


When the work is notifiable -

NO ONE can work in someone's house without notifying by one method or another.

'You' just have to notify the LA before the work is started and they may accept your qualifications.



I'm not saying it's ideal but those are the facts.
 
What a massive cock up! All we needed was an Electricians license so we would all know where we are. I believe Part P should be SCRAPPED asap. RIP Part P
(The Homeowners would know where they are too)
