Discuss Ezybond and Legrand Swift earth clamps in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I am finding it difficult to install EC14 type earth clamps (due to a broken finger!!). The above look an attractive alternative, but I have not come across any body who have used these.

I am concerned that the Ezybond can only get a firm grip when it is closed tightly, and that the cable may drop out if the fit is loose.

Any views would be welcome.

Many thanks.

Yes, used these clamps in the AM2, literally only a 10 second job per clamp...... If it takes you 20 second, there might be something wrong with you! lol!

I'm sure legrand will make you pay for it tho

Used both, certainly quick and no problems with fit or integrity. From memory though it's the cost that would prohibit regular use. The Ezybond was good in a particularly difficult location to access.
Regards
