Hi all,
just thought i would try and find a solution on how to find where a cable could be broken in a wall?

The break as i am putting it together with insulation test shows cable broken in the wall in the switch wire (so flashing disco lights) not good.
A few years ago the house was flooded by a burst pipe and this is one of the effected parts, looking for where the break is is some thing else with out doing to much damage to wall.

Also i wonder the best tool for the job to sink the new cable back into the wall ie. grinder with masonry disc with 2 runs or can i get or hire any thing to do it in one as i have heard there is?

Anyone with info please reply many thanks Ian

Lump hammer and bolster, and isolate first.

Mmm, doesn't figure with the disco lights if it's clear !! lol.
