tidying out my wardrobe earlier on - don’t ask but I came across a little LED strip that I got in B&M years ago it’s rigid and fully encased I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix it to the top slider rail of the wardrobe it did come with brackets but they are long lost. I did think double sided tape but doubt it would hold it for very long and I’d probably be sticking it back up every other week..... anyways see my crude drawing of the general shape and where I want to fit them (the green dot) I was thinking maybe P clips anyone have any better suggestions?

It had crossed my mind I must admit :oops:Can’t get above the profile to stick a cable tie in there’s gyproc right above the hooky bit

Use your gas torch to melt the end when you hold it to the wall, the paint will melt too and stick it firmly.

Just glue the damn thing then lol. A few dabs of superglue and hold it in place with tape until it starts to grab.

If you ever need to remove it, superglue is actually very brittle and you can snap it off.

Any sort of tape isn't ideal as it will get slightly warm in use and in the end will soften then tape to the point it starts to let go.

If you run the tape along the where the green dot is.... won't the hooky bit cast a big shadow?

Appalling suggestions so far.
What about the poor fireman in your wardrobe when he gets entangled in it when it falls off in a fire?
Why there'd be a fireman in your wardrobe when you weren't at home, ?

What green dot? I only see a squiggly red line and a yellow dash.

I was too polite to point out the state of the sketch and the fact it's blatantly a yellow dash
I know their is a red squiggly line with a hook on it where kid have drawn, and waiting for the worm.

Any glue or sticky stuff, will only be as strong as the paint the LED strip is stuck to.

Just use large T&E clips and substitute the pins for thin screws.

Self adheasive velcro?
Whenever I've used it the self-adhesive bit eventually falls off no matter how well prepared the surface is, but the velcro part is good!
