Hey I know what a Fluorescent light works, by wires etc but I wan't to go into real detail in how it all works.

This is what I know so far...

"a light bulb has very little in common with a fluorescent tube.
In a light bulb, the light is generated by a filament. On the other hand, a gas is stimulated, causing the fluorescent lamp to illuminate." I just need to go abit further with this in my homework.

Anyone help me?
