Identifying circuits on equipment

Quick one..is it in the regs to identify where circuits are fed from on sockets and switches or just good practice? Commercial job obviously. Cheers

good practice, IMO. gives guys an indication what to isolate so as not to be causing disruption by isolating other circuits unnecessarily.

if they are not done, in the long term that if spark needs to isolate
any thing, he needs to know what he is turning off .and lock off.
