increasing the size of an array

Quick question - to increase the size of an existing array, the new panels will come under the new FIT rate. Npower have said that we don't have to install a 2nd generation meter as they will pro rata the payments to reflect what has been installed. If we did want to install a 2nd gen meter they would accept a 2nd reading.

If we were to install a second generation meter - we would have to install a second inverter....wouldn't we?
