Returning to the first edition .
Twin core ,( probably both) wired fuses .
New fangled ,carbon filament incandescents .
For no messing/no sooty stains on wall ,lighting on demand.
(Tungsten filaments not patented till 1904)

It was DC no earthing provided for years to come, long after AC was invented

So you did and I mistakenly referred to a generator which had not been invented yet, but having the 1st edition handy it's actually a dynamo referred to. See ,we all need to be on the same page!
