Insulation resistance on candle 52w candle lamps new halogen type

Is is new fitting with all the lampholders wired seperatly back to the centre rose in 3 core flex. My question is why is there reading from live to earth through a new 52 w halogen type lamp. Am I not making myself clear or does nobody on here know the answer if that is the case I will endeavour to explore other avenues instead. Thankyou

Thanks Lucian. The readings are just through the lamp not the installation wiring so the earthing arrangement is irrelevant in this case.
