Hi Guys,

It has been my belief that all notifiable work, even if just a new spurred socket in a Kitchen had to have a Full Electrical Installation cert. During a telephone conversation today it was implied that something like this could still be done on a Minor Works Cert and still be notified.

I look forward to your answers

Minor works is generally for extensions to circuits.

So, if you add a socket then issue a minor works cert filling in the relevent details

Yes, it is still notifiable, however when extending a circuit in a special location a Minor Works certificate is sufficient.
