Hi guys,

Recently got into PAT Testing and purchased a Seaward Primetest 100. Up till now i haven't been asked to do any sensitive IT equipment, until now.

It says it is fine to do IT equipment, but only tests at 500v dc, no option to change to 230v.

Now i have read another similar post on the same question on here, where someone says it is fine.

Just wanted some confirmation please.

Cheers

Don't do it... It might be fine, you might get away with it, but that machine is NOT meant for sensitive equipment and if it goes wrong you'll be liable. The seaward 100 is pretty basic and dimwitted.
