Has anyone got any good methods on how to do a bridge set on pvc conduit? For the AM2s you have to do a bridge over a pipe and then a 90 bend into a socket.

I recently took my AM2s and failed on this. I did the galv conduit fine but when it come to the pvc it fractured and bubbled on me so I failed that section.

I'm due back in a couple of weeks and really want to get confident in doing this

warm the tube before bending. hair dryer or a cloth rub to create friction heat.

Yeh I did that but it still bubbled and then because I tried rescuing the bend it cracked.

In all fairness it was the 90 bend that fractured. Mainly because I bend it with my knee which is too tight a bend.

But it made me realise the 90 bend and bridge is quite a.difficult piece of pvc to do so I was looking for some pointers. Especially with the bridge

Does anyone have a good method of approaching a bridge set on pvc? Tried a few methods with various results. Really not sure which is best

IMO, use your hands with a good spring, never used my knee's, just think of someone you hate, the strength will come. lol
