I noticed this morning that SEGEN have moved to 0844 numbers. Personally, I think that is appalling for business customers. The only reason I would normally ring them is when they have made a mistake on a delivery, which they have twice recently for me. Of choice I will not do business with someone who tries to charge me for phoning them. SEGEN prices are going to have to be particularly good to compensate!

Explains why I couldn't get in touch with them this morning - although it doesn't explain why my emails were ignored as well.

And they looked so good for a while, now it seems that they're starting to fumble and drop the ball....step up the next contender for Britains largest PV wholesaler oh and if you want my business then I don't expect you to be an installer, choose, installer or wholsaler not both, I don't buy from the competition!

I don't know if Segen are still moving or if they have completed the move but I know they have taken the figure off the pulse a little the last week or two.

Regardless of the telephone number I really wish they could get our pro-formers and invoices sorted out. I have a 1p outstanding balance since last June which I still get emails to remind me about. They have told me to ignore them but still they come!

My opening balance was £25k in debt and it took them a while to sort that out. I think they try to be a little bit too clever and they should just get some good old fashioned account managers to answer the phones, take orders and sort stuff out, I only order small things from them 'cos I still don't trust them with big orders and they are totally rigid on pricing.

They would do well to look at how all the big successful wholesalers in all industries work and it isn't how they do things.

We've been let down a couple of times with deliveries and judging by the mail I had last night I think we may be let down today as well. If we are, then we're crossing them off our list.

I'm sick to death of having to apologise to customers for other people's mistakes.

and have you seen the price increases???? Delivery up from £75 to £119 for us, SMA 3800 up £100, Sharp 245 up £15 a panel. I've just lost £300 on a quote that I did 3 weeks ago because of the increases. What really hacks me off is when they agree a delivery, can't agree the price, let you go £200 over your credit limit because they can't get the invoices right then send you a snotty email demanding the extra £200 - which you don't owe anyway - if you see what I mean. I got a demand for 10k the other day 36 hours after I'd made payment 21 days early!!

We've used them and Waxman fromd day 1, tried Cleaner Air and their service was awful. Waxman are fab but a little too expensive, Segen were good on service and price but have definitely gone down the drain in the last 2/3 weeks.

Segen what a waste of space all I want to do is phone up order and pay over phone. They have made something so simple into a nightmare.

I think I share the same thoughts as everyone since the last round of shortages we've used access renewables who are much easier to deal with and will sort out any issues quickly.
