Anyone got any views on how much they would roughly charge to wire new 10mm and upgrade breaker to 40amp for a shower circuit

Any ideas would be good

have a look at lloyds post mate about £950 and just clip it outside up the wall.

The last 2 I have done were £240 and £415 the latter including a £80 shower and RCBO for circuit protection.....More detail needed but there is a rough guide for you!
