I think it should be setup so that it is displayed upon each and every forum member that visits the forum, in order to enter the forum we would need to click on an accept button to continue.

It only needs to be done the once, not every time we login, that way there is no excuses for any ignorance to the rules.
Then its a case of you have been told and accepted it, Now Bugger Off!

Good idea Mark. I'm going to copy and paste that notice and email it to Glennsparks for when his ban is up lol.

He called me yesterday and feels a bit silly about what he said. Of course I just took the ---- out of him .

The dangers of being in a bad mood + a few drinks and being on a forum speaking your mind. Not a good combination but I've done it myself a couple of times.

The biggest issue with the announcement by the admin guys is that its still open to interpretation.

e.g. Paul M may be offended by a poster whilst Telectrix may not be.

Maybe the mods need to outline some examples before we all get banned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was only a matter of time before this stance had to be taken. Anyone who values the forum will respect and abide by the forum posting rules regardless as they are only in place to protect the best interest of everyone who reads and posts on here:thumbsup

I was wondering if you could create a pop up box that will effect all accounts new or old as a good reminder, maybe some forum users go elsewhere often, where that it is acceptable behaviour and forget when back here.

Yes, it's all in the context, isn't it? And a few of us having a leg-pull with EACH OTHER might not be seen that way by someone new to the forum, so in fairness to the mods it's got to be the Three Musketeers approach.

The decision to ban someone isn't taken lightly, chances are you wont have seen what they did to earn themselves a ban as it will have been edited/deleted.

That's fair enough, maybe I was jumping to conclusions.

I know the mods do a great job on here and am sure they will do in the future.
