Sorry if this sounds silly but here goes......
What is the rating of each contact on a 32amp triple pole rotary isolator?
Obvious answer would be 32amp but I just want to clarify incase each terminal is rated at 32÷3 amps to provide a total of 32 amp over the three terminals.

I'm basically wanting to provide isolation for a 5 kw single phase load but can't find a dp isolator.
I want to make sure that if I'm using phase 1 on tp isolator it will be capable of handling the load.

Thanks

Nominally 32A per pole for off-load isolation. Less per pole for load break operation depending on the switching duty, this should all be detailed on the product information. There is usually a label giving the various AC and/or DC duty ratings
