Veritas 8 Compact

Hi All,

I've installed a Veritas 8 Compact today, and when it came to carry out the walk test all of the zone lights came on at once.
I have wired it with 1 PIR to each of 6 zones. the remaining two zones are linked out.
I am using a global tamper which is wired in series.
All other tests are OK we have double checked the wiring and it all appears OK.

Also when i go to set the alarm, all zone light come on (excluding the 2 linked out zones) and it wont set.

Do you think its a tamper fault some where and if I link out the tamper would it clear the fault?

It sounds to me that you have connected the tamper wires into the zones in the panel and the zone wires into the tamper.Double check at the detectors which colours you have put in which and then double check the panel end for the same.

Have the PIR's got their 12 volt supply ? Have you popped the fuse?

As above check your Aux fuse.
