I think the course you are doing is the LCL Domestic Installer Course (aka part p). This is a certificate of competence and should not be a problem if you want to register with a CPS like NAPIT and NICEIC (call them and check). You would also need to do the CG2382 18th edition which you probably know already.hi studying for Part P and the exam board from my course is LCL, is this a problem?
Actually Part P is an Approved Document, which, if followed, ensures compliance with the relevant building regulations. All electrical work in dwellings must comply with Part P, not just notifiable works. Are you a qualified spark?
Part P is a building regulation notification process, not a qualification by exam. You get accepted by a CPS (Competent Persons Scheme) if qualified spark and thereby can notify the local authority!
