245W SHARP and 3.6 fronius inverter wont start up

Hi people need a bit of help we have a 16 Panel 245W sharp system with a 3.6 Fronius inverter all we are getting are 4 arrows pointing upwards, This is in overcast conditions.

Double Check polarity?

Agreed, check the polarity on the dc side into the inverter from the isolator. I too have fell foul of this one.

Tested the AC and DC both sides have current and the system seems to work fine but the inverter just wont start up not even a blip. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you check dc at the inverter or at the dc isolator. When I got it wrong I was checking at the dc isolator and n

Sorry I'll finish.. I was checking at the dc isolator not the inverter. I had voltage at the incoming terminals on the isolator but when I turned it on nothing. Swapped the dc cable round between the isolator and the inverter and hey presto!

Swap over the dc connections in the dc isolator

Yeah I had managed to get the polarity wrong. So I swapped it over on the outputs of the dc isolator and it sprang into life
