Hi all,

British Gas Service and Repair Apprenticeships are open for applications in the following areas:

North Scotland, Northern England, Berks & Hants, Windsor & Guildford, Sussex & Kent Coast, Wiltshire & Oxon, Broads & Fens, Central London, Bucks, Herts & Essex

  • Starting salary of £10,000 rising to £30,805 when fully qualified and competent
  • Field based in the above areas
  • Great career prospects with British Gas, the UK’s largest energy provide

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer focused Apprentices to grow and become fully qualified within our Gas Service and Repair business. We will provide fantastic training, so we need you to be prepared to learn the technical aspects of the role. In return you will receive a rewarding benefits package including a van, all of your equipment, the latest laptop technology, paid holiday, comprehensive pension & share save schemes and a guaranteed job at the end of it.

During your apprenticeship, in addition to the excellent technical training, you will complete a personal programme of activities to achieve the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Gold award or British Gas Award programme. This Apprenticeship is a self driven programme that requires highly motivated individuals to manage their own development throughout the duration of your training.

You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs/Scottish Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above, including English, Maths, and preferably Science as well as a practical subject such as Technology / Food Technology or Electronics. Your application should ideally show evidence of your practical hobbies and interests, including voluntary work. If you do not hold a full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK, you will be currently working towards one.

Apply to join British Gas as an Apprentice Service and Repair Engineer by following the link below. We will ask you for your postcode when you reach our website – this will help us to ensure you are applying for a role in your local area.
