Door Switch

I have been asked to wire up 50 door switches (similar to Door Switch Surface - Push to Break - 2 Amp - White)

The problem is as these are to be mounted just under the top of the door (to operate) the terminals will be within reach and wont meet IPX4 requirements - any ideas?
I can seem to find any enclosures to cover the terminals.

You can't touch the terminals on those

use a different door switch. there are some on the market which have enclosed terminals

I have just googled said switch and agree with post 2. the terminals are enclosed. the four holes you're looking at are fixing holes

Use ring crimps with a bit of the insulation cut off. They're a bit fiddly and the crimps might need some manipulation to get them in, but the terminals will be appropriately covered.

It's not just about the terminals being enclosed. Insulation has to be sheathed.

How do you mean? There's a clamp at the back to go on the sheath so there is no insulation showing. These switches are designed to be used on their own without any modification.

Yup! Can't say I always find them wired as such, but its no prob to get it all in there, as long as you don't use something silly like 2.5 :joker:
