fcu spurs

Morning gang, was wondering the best way to approach wiring an extension in the sense that taking an fcu spur off of the ring for a double socket fine if he wants another socket whats best way to do? He's a bit tight for a new circuit because it'll mean another cu so for the sake of a couple of sockets he's playing the scrooge game.

Your fine to have 2 sockets from one spur depending on the load of the circuit and the 2 new sockets for the cable its on. Have a look at appendix 15 all is explained.

feed an FCU from an existing point.....then use FCU to feed new points.....

Yes is a conservatory wasnt sure how many sockets I could but on single fcu or if I needed fcu for every socket. Thanks for ur help guys.

Just my personal preference, no FCUs cluttering up the walls as well.

As long as the FCU is on the existing ring then your 13amp radial off that can have as many socket outlets as you wish ,
