I get all my lamp holders off ebay

my local wholesalers can’t get anywhere near the prices on eBay , last time I was in a pinch I paid about £4 just for one at my wholesalers

on eBay you can get 10 for about 7 quid

You can get a jcc fire guard gu10 fitting with bezel for £3.99, by the time you alter the lamp holder, add a wago box and wagos, and still left with an old fitting and a bit of a lashup, is it not worth just doing it properly and swapping the whole thing
likewise you can use integrated JCC V50's where the drivers will accept 2 T/E, saves the wagos and boxes. c. £15 apiece.
